Today I spent the whole day baking. My dorm had about thirty parties going on in different people's rooms as part of orientation, for people to meet each other. I decided to make mine a tea party theme ( Read more... )

How absolutely precious!! I love checkerboard cookies; they're perfect for teaparties, and yours are just the cutest! I bet those Earl Grey truffles were good too... did you serve an assortment of teas as well?

That spread is so amazing, I wish I could have been there! Wow... just... wow.

As a side note.. This post also made me smile because it brought back memories of a friend/co-worker from years ago who loved to bring in fresh baked pastries and those tasty (crust-less!) tea sandwiches. Sooooo good...

Haha, the sandwiches reminded me of living in Japan, because they often sell crustless sandwiches there. I brewed up some plain black tea, but also had hot water and some flavored black teas, white tea, green tea, kuckicha, and rooibos tea if people preferred.

I kind of have a tea-collecting addiction...
