I read a bit on your blog; I've found kinder surprise in a few European-style food markets near Chicago :o although it is funny to me that they would be banned as a choking hazard. It's pretty much natural selection at that point.
derp. i read a few lines down. It wouldn't surprise me if they were. The US likes to get into silly things and ban them... such as how its impossible to find Disneys' Song of the South due to Disney not wanting the slavery implications... but it's really no big deal now. I have it on vhs with Chinese subtitles on the singing bits ;)
Wow!! That is simply amazing! I don't have the patience to try it in the next few days, but I'm definitely bookmarking this to try in the future. My daughter would love it.
Thanks! I'm making some more today. I think after the first try, it will get easier. :) How old is she? My 1- and 2-year old nephews are so amused by it.
I have a 5 month old and 3 year old daughter. I painted eggs with my 3 year old last week and she just didn't understand how an Easter egg couldn't be chocolate. I was trying to explain that they come from chickens. Her response was, "A chocolate chicken?" lol
Love your peep & spring idea! Post the results. haha

Unfortunately, I was too tired to execute this idea. But I think I'll be making something similar for another occasion. :)
