My house went to a Halloween party last night so to round out the Octoberyness of it all, I made gingerbread waffles this morning

Ohh...sounds really good. I'll definitely make these when I go to my parents' house this December (no waffle iron here. =p)

Ooh, that sounds wonderful. Next time I pull out the waffle iron, I'll try that. It also sounds like it would be good with nuts -- I often make pecan waffles, and always end up throwing whatever nuts I have around into pancakes. Pecans, almonds, or pistachios would all work in this one, I bet.
