I'm referring to our October trip to England as an Odyssey. Julie is calling it a Pilgrimage. True, we both want to worship--and work--at the shrine of Wychurst, but I'm looking forward to a trek north to Jorvik as well!

I see that Tim Burton is going to produce a film based on _Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter._ I wonder if that means that all the pirates at Pennsic, renn fairs and SCA events will then be showing up with beards and frock coats...

My wife doesn't want to go this Saturday to the release party for _Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter._ They've called me to say that it's pretty full up, so unless someone lets me known before midnight that they'd like to go and need a reservation, 'm going to cancel to free it up.The release is in Springfield, Illinois at 7 pm this Saturday.
