The 99th annual Swedish Day was held on 19 June at Good Templar Park in Geneva, Illinois. Good Templar Park is the home of the 1893 Viking Ship, and Micel Folcland set up an encampment next to it. Douglas Sunlin just posted that Frank Frazetta died today at the age of 82 of a stroke. He had earlier suffered a long-undiagnosed thyroid condition and a number of smaller strokes that marred the use of his right hand.
