[And because Frederic needs to get out more, here he is out and walking about town. Only he looks...kind of sickly. Sorry Polka, he hasn't wanted to eat much or sleep much the last few days. So he's probably going to be silent as he walks passed her too.]

Yes, that's right! Apparently she's a New Feather too, but her owner isn't anywhere around - at least I haven't seen them yet.

Um. Well I'm sure she wasn't abandoned. Her owner is probably looking for her! But if she's really a New Feather, then her owner might not even be here. Besides, this world isn't that bad. [ She giggles. ]

But you are right, it would be mean if she really was abandoned.

I think so. She must have shown up with the recent New Feather arrivals - she's even got the wings and a journal. [ Of course Foot could be a well trained cat and this was part of a joke, but Polka wouldn't think that. ]

Um -- sure, I think she's sleeping right now - hold on and let me just..

[ A few seconds later the post switches to voice/video and Polka turns the journal around quietly, so that Foot is visible, probably dozing somewhere. ]

I'm all right! I ended up with a small cold, but it wasn't anything serious. Besides, I had my friend Anise here to take care of me. As it turns out, a lot of people I know are here!

[Polka will be greeted at the job when she comes back with a happy 'merk!' and a gentle rubbing of her legs. Foot will then trot after her, only to sit on Polka's feet when next she stops moving. You have greetings, Polka.]

[ Polka giggles, pleased to see Foot was still there. She pauses just long enough to reach down and scritch the cat's soft fur, and then makes her way to the living room. ]

Hi Foot! [ Walking over to put the supplies down on the coffee table, there is sudden weight on her feet. Well hello there. She giggles again, kneeling to give Foot a more thorough greeting for a few hours minutes, since the presence of a kitty can easily distract someone from what they're doing. ]

I got you a few things - I hope you like them. Do you want to see?

[Foot seems to brighten up considerably at the mention of 'things'. She trails after Polka, looking up at her the whole time with wide, interested eyes.]

First off, I thought I'd get you a bed all for yourself. [ Even though Foot will probably sleep everywhere and anywhere, and everything is the property of a kitty now... ] Here, try it out.

[ And she sets down the dark blue cat bed- mostly an overstuffed pillow that she can curl up in. She'd thought about getting one of those cathouse types, but she couldn't carry it. :I ]
