I like to eat soup for breakfast -- miso, kimchi with vegetables, or random ones mixed with leftover rice for more solid and less soupy.

Miso is _excellent_ for breakfast, and I sometimes mix in sauerkraut (I really like the ginger beet kraut) for something vaguely akin to the kimchi nature.
