In Boston

It feels very surreal, which is helped by the weather being a lot like home -- just about three weeks cooler and three hours earlier -- and I'm still pleased that I was able to make and execute a plan, though the execution owes everything to aelfsciene, who was able to come out with me and keep me from getting lost in strange airports, and dcltdw, who so kindly ( Read more... )

You and Angie are both awesome for going. I'm glad you could, and hope it helps.

I'm really glad we could too. I felt good that I could make use of my no-job-ness for once!

*hugs* And I'm glad your body is being good to you. I find that if I go to a completely new location, my allergies give me a reprieve for a while.

I hope that's happening for you.

Yeah... the history is amazing there.

And I'm glad that you could do what you've done.

I sneezed a lot more than usual! So I think there was something my body didn't like, but I wasn't getting a lot of itches and the flareups seemed to be more fatigue related than allergy related. So nice.

Eek! You and Angie are only two hours away from me?!? I wish I knew how long you guys would be around (or if you still are around!), I'd figure out a way to come up and see you!

Oh jeez I am an IDIOT. I should have posted BEFORE I left to make an opening for this. I was concentrating so hard on trip logistics I didn't even think of, you know, telling people.

Though it turns out that on our "free day" Monday, I crashed pretty much all day exactly as I thought I might. So I would not have been terribly exciting and you would have driven four hours to see me awake from, uh, 7pm to like 11pm? I was a pretty impressive zombie!

We are going to HAVE to go out again sometime, for real, when things have settled down more. I'm also feeling a lot firmer about getting a guest bed here, in that I really want to get it done this winter while I am (presumably) feeling well enough to shop.

*hugs* I'd totally love to see you any time you come out. And I worked until 2:30 on monday, so I probably would've gotten there around 5PM, so only would've sat through two hours of crash! :)
