Awww....so cute! A new holiday tradition?
p.s. did your paper tape smelled as bad as mine?

Ya really - wrap me along with the presents! LOL
No smell at all actually. Did you stuff yours or make a stand?

Maybe next year's dressform will have tinsel paper? ;)
I gotta get your brand. I used the white-stuff (for framing piktures) and it stank to the heavens whilst it dried...
I still hadn't stuffed. Discovered that leaving it open accomodates corsetry easier. The stand was just me being lazy. It'z still hanging behind a door....ooops. :)

I used the brown kind for packages from a hardware/home depot type store.

I've been thinking about decopaging it - maybe with leftover xmas wrap? lol

We had the giggles too! I recruited them all so it would go quickly. They didn't use much finesse with the tape, but it's functional! :D

I think I have to make one - so here's my question: what did you use to make your dummie?
I heard duct tape isn't really good -- but I don't know what else to use?

I used paper tape - the kind you wet on one side (like licking an envelope) to activate the glue. It dries very rigid if you use 2-3 layers, but you can still stick a pin in it and cut through it. I bought it at a "bricolage" store (hardware store) and also at the craft store. I've also seen it sold with mail packaging supplies.

It's working out very well so far! It's the first time I have used one like this. Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions about how I did it. Here's a good website:

Thank you so much!
Yes . I have another question: will you be in Cologne the next weeks? maybe the 13 March? ;)

I really want to go, but it isn't looking like I can. My husband will be out of town that weekend and life is complicated at the moment. I almost have my new dress done too! Maybe something will change over the weekend. :(
