Yesterday, we thought we had lost Toby. It was one of the most frantic, stressful moments of my entire life. It's a weird feeling, it retrospect. This panicky, sweaty, heart-pounding nonsense of emotions.

This weekend has been great.

a. I didn't bomb my chemistry test on friday.
b. the puppies are getting along.
c. I overcame my social awkwardness and was annoying and took lots of picture's at my niece's birthday party.
d. Chris takes care of me and the puppy when I am ill.
e. I love my family. new and old.

I made samosas today.  According to food network, they're of Indian orgin- cause when I typed in Indian food, this was one of the recipes that I got.  Really, I was looking for recipes similar to the foods that Chris and I get when we go to our favorite Indian food restaurant.  No luck.

note: I would like it to be even in the back- I'm not sure if that was intentional.
However, I'd go for the right side which is longer.

I made ginger cookies.
Because I really want some pickled ginger, and this is the closest I'm going to get to fulfilling my craving.
I love pickled ginger.
But I also am thoroughly enjoying these cookies.
