...Fuhrer?

[a long pause.]

I suppose you wouldn't know who that is.

[Moving on:]

I'm not interested in being in the military, but I wouldn't mind aiding my abilities from time to time.

[Another pause.]

I am a doctor.

[He'll blink, then shake his head.]

Only our world's version...

[He sounds pleased!]

A doctor, wonderful. We'll need some of those.

aiding. I totally meant lending. /headdesk patchworkdoctor February 12 2011, 17:51:47 UTC
My lab is down in the Lower District.

[A loooong pause.]

It's fairly recognizable on sight.

I'm not exactly the kind who takes orders... [especially from guys with such a large ego. Irk.] But I wouldn't mind lending my skills from time to time.

... I have the knack for recon and have a little offensive magic.

Good. Recon is always something to flourish in a military setting. I'll be adding you then.

If it will help the people, and help prevent another tragedy, then I will lend you my sword and any assistance you may need of me. I also have some healing Artes in addition to my sword skills.

[He hesitates a moment. Flynn can perfectly understand Roy's position right now. They're both young, and both lack experience because of their age and moving up in the ranks of command so fast.]

For what it's worth, I believe the ability to lead speaks louder than your experience. Even an experienced leader can be incompetent.

[He smiles, nodding.] Any help is more than I can ask at the moment.

[Ah, a loyal supporter. Someone who understands that this is for the betterment of Vatheon.]

So very true. [Just thinking of their corrupt leader back home...] I will not fail you, then.

Then I shall do whatever I can.

[Perhaps he understands it more than anyone because of what's happening back home.]

Nor I you. Perhaps we can make Vatheon much safer through the combined efforts of those willing to give aid.

That's my hope. [Have a smile. He's glad someone understands.]

So, your country relies on its military as its political leader?

[His arms are crossed, and taps his fingers against his arm thoughtfully.]

...I suppose I could lend my aid. I specialize in fire magic and in using a sword. What are you going to be requiring us to do?

Yes. It's been that way... well... foe as long as the history books recall anyway.

[He smiles, then nods.]

For now, organize to become a force. A deterrent for those who decide murder is an acceptable act.

Can't say I've ever run across a country being run like that. Ours are mostly run by those of royal bloodlines.

[Wolfram nods, crossing his arms. A safe plan to start.]

And how do you plan on doing that? From what I can tell, our abilities can range widely on how we can use our weapon skills and magic.

I think organizing into teams by playing off the unique strengths. Certain techniques may work well together. If it's organized, we have a better chance of taking our enemies.

Will I gain a promotion?

[You don't even have to ask. She will follow you, no matter what.]

You have always been my second in command. What would I ever do without you?

thehawks_eye February 12 2011, 05:43:58 UTC
In rank, sir.

[Because if you skip up what, 5, 6 ranks, then so should she.]

I understand. We'll plan for it.
