Hello again LJ world! It feels like it's been so long, haha. *really, really needs to buy a computer* Still, I can't decide between getting a cheapie for around $200 or going nicer for $400 so it's going to be a little while still while I waffle back and forth. I'm with you on the worry about not being finished the AU. I don't know if I'm even halfway yet. I am loving the story and having a lot of fun, but it keeps going and going and going...

Good luck with yours! I'm so excited to read them all, even if I don't get mine done.

Ugh, the further I get the less likely I think this is looking. I'm on page 17 and they haven't even met yet. Yeah, this looks promising... haha

Regardless, I'm psyched to read all the entries. I'm normally not big into AU for the Naruto fandom so this should be pretty interesting with just all kinds of things coming out of the woodworks!

i took my pc with what i found was a burned out cpu to a really great computer store-- he explained that because it was a cheap tiny piece of garbage that they are known for overheating and killing cpu's. he told me to save my money and get a full size pc from place like wal-mart with as much as i'm going to be using it (all day usually) and keep it well ventilated (for the summer i have the side off and have clamped a fan blowing directly on the cpu fan so it doesn't over heat ( ... )

Yikes, that sounds like a nightmare.

I actually had one of the ultra small forms for years and it held up surprisingly well. It finally just went kaput and I've put it back together so many times that it's just too late for it now.

I'd considered just building a computer but while I know a decent amount about some components, others I know very little about. I'm so indecisive anyhow, and given to doing tons of research in the first place, so even if I did go that route I'd probably take months to do it, and I really want to get one sooner rather than later (although that still requires sitting down and actually biting the bullet which I'm a big sissy about doing.) Ah well, for the time being I'm just keeping an eye on ebay and the Dell Outlet.

One day...one day ;p
