A friend of mine recently posted on facebook how good things tend to happen to us when we're least expecting them. All I can say now is that, yes, good things have happened, very good things indeed, and I was never expecting this. More info later... ;)

I've recently found myself rereading one of my favorite short stories, only to find its meaning even more poignant.
