A good tired
Our household held it's "annual" BBQ yesterday. It was amusing to be getting calls asking if the BBQ was still on--the caller being in the middle of a raging downpour while we had full sun (and the humidity that went with it). My brothers, sister and I were in western Ireland, where there was only one TV station which was on-air from 6pm to 11pm. Since most of the shows were in Irish Gaelic, TV wasn't very interesting to us. Thank goodness for short weeks
I'm off tomorrow--Big Name University recognizes July 3rd for the Fourth of July holiday. My plans for tomorrow begin with sleep until I wake up on my own (allowing for the fact that young child and/or cats might have different ideas on when I should be awake). Grinning like a fool!
We dropped the girl off at the birthday party and went out to dinner. We actually had things to talk about besides the kid--radical! We saw Star Trek and once I got over the whole "but that isn't what I remember" stuff, I was totally wrapped up in the movie. I have a date tonight!!!!
Our daughter is going to a sleep-over birthday party tonight so my husband and I are planning to do dinner and a movie. I will get to have grown-up time with the love of my life and get to see the Star Trek movie too ( Read more... ) -
