Shameless Plug
A few years ago, we knew that we were going to have to replace the church organ. Organs are very expensive things, so we started a fund to save up the money for that rainy day. Well, the rainy day came before the fund was fully funded, so now we've got a new (well, new to us, but used) organ and the bills to pay off. Our session, being the clever people they are, decided that a cookbook would be a neat way of raising the money. Our cookbook, _At My Father's Table_ has been published and is available on amazon.com
If you're into cooking, this could be fun for you. Our church is very diverse and the cookbook reflects the various cultures and traditions of our members. (Me, I'm looking forward to trying some of the recipes the Ghanian members turned in.) There are main courses, side dishes and desserts.
