Hm. . . . I'm not sure what to say to this, Lloyd. But whatever the purpose of your journey, you clearly succeeded somehow in restoring balance to the world -- There is only one in my time. Aselia. Tethe'alla and Sylvarant are the names of our moons, perhaps in rememberance of the time when the worlds were split.

Your conflict with Yggdrasil may have been resolved if you chose to name the tree after your enemy.

And regardless of what may have happened, Colette is fine. You remember it as such -- And she was here, as well, wasn't she?

I think you can trust that everything worked out in the end.

Yeaaah... I dunno. Maybe there's only one now, but there were definitely two before.

I--! I mean, I can't even think it! That guy's the leader of the Desians. He's made countless people suffer, and-- for what? What good could possibly come out of hurting innocent people? They never did anything wrong.

And yeah, but--!! ...it's not good enough! Even if things turned out okay in the end, there's still all those other people and all those memories in between. Colette might be okay, but what about all my other friends, and all the folks we met along the way? The worlds might have been saved, but if I had to do something terrible in order to save them, it doesn't make it right.

Ach! I just noticed I screwed up! >_< Really sorry, Nall. shoukanjutsu February 23 2010, 04:40:06 UTC
I'm sure you understand this already, Lloyd, but it's pointless to dwell on the matter. These are memories. They've already happened. What's worse, they're often remembered in a manner so as to veil the truth of the matter or to induce an emotional response.

Whatever wrong actions you may have taken, it's likely that you've already suffered the consequences for your actions in reality. Don't punish yourself again.

Last one was a mistake, so sorry. I'm failing all over the place lately. chaos_squirrel February 24 2010, 05:05:16 UTC
Colette...no, she has to be all right. She was here and she was okay, wasn't she? And I remember that people kept calling you guys heroes, back in Luin. They wouldn't believe in you so strongly if you saved the world if Colette had to give up her humanity like that for it, right?

All that--it's so much. I tried to follow it as best as I could, and I think I understand the basics. Some of what you wrote sounds a little familiar too, like the journey of regeneration. You were supposed to be the heroes of regeneration, so I guess you really did complete it. But what exactly are the Desians, and Cruxis? I get that they're bad, and I guess the tree is related to all this somehow. It's just hard to piece everything together.

And I'm really sorry about what happened to Iselia. That must have been horrible, to see your hometown...

[Beep beep. Sensitive subject here. Baaack up.]

Yeah. Terrible. I'm sorry you had to remember that.

I guess... I mean, I don't think we'd just abandon her or anything, but I still wish I knew for sure she was A-Okay.

Uh. No one's ever called me that before. A "hero" I mean. Mostly Genis just reminds me how much higher his test scores are than mine, so it feels kinda weird ( ... )

Wow, that really is horrible. How could they do something like that? All that suffering...treating people's lives like that, even sacrifice. Like Colette.

But...well, maybe it's just because I lived in Luin for all that time, but now I can sort of see how you could be a hero. At least, you honestly care about people, don't you? I don't think test scores would really have any part in it. Then I'd be a hero too. I'm sure you did your best to help Colette out back then, and I bet you succeeded too.

I guess that's okay. It happened on another world, a pretty good while ago, too. I don't think you'll ever have to worry about the Desians.
