I guess... I mean, I don't think we'd just abandon her or anything, but I still wish I knew for sure she was A-Okay.

Uh. No one's ever called me that before. A "hero" I mean. Mostly Genis just reminds me how much higher his test scores are than mine, so it feels kinda weird.

Well, uh, the Desians are half-elves. They have ranches set up all over the place and they have humans work for them against their will. They treat them badly - like slaves really. We had a non-aggression treaty with the Iselia Ranch, and they weren't supposed to do anything to us as long as we stayed out of their business, but when the oracle happened they tried to kill Colette anyway. Then they found out about Marble. And, well... That's when I got kicked out.

I think Cruxis are the ones that run everything. Like that Yggdrasill guy. Sounded like he tells the other Desians what to do, maybe. And Kratos was listening to him, and Remiel was begging for Kratos' help. I guess there's some kind of chain of command within Cruxis with those Seraphim at the top.

...

Um... yeah. I... wouldn't want to live through it a third time. [Guilt right here. Guilt, guilt. Especially since he doesn't live IN Iselia and his house was untouched.]

Wow, that really is horrible. How could they do something like that? All that suffering...treating people's lives like that, even sacrifice. Like Colette.

But...well, maybe it's just because I lived in Luin for all that time, but now I can sort of see how you could be a hero. At least, you honestly care about people, don't you? I don't think test scores would really have any part in it. Then I'd be a hero too. I'm sure you did your best to help Colette out back then, and I bet you succeeded too.
