Last night was a good night. Seven of us relatively spontaneously went to go see Matrix: Revolutions after large group. First, the movie is freakin' awesome. I think that's probably one of the best endings to a movie that I've seen in a long time. At one point, I almost cried. Seriously. I was actually thinking the other day about how fun it was to have you over all summer and when we can do it again!
I also worked with a barista last night that has a LJ and has taken a liking for FLCL. I mentioned your icons to her.

paul told me that matrix revolutions was stupid. then he told me he didnt even like the first one and i was like, whatever.
so i saw it last night with marcia (redwine), gage, zeke, and devon. zeke was a spontaneous member, but as devon pointed out, 5 equals a riot. (interesting)
i did cry, lisa. marcia and i made fun of it (okay, die already. i mean, this one lady gets killed instantly with one stab to the chest and she gets five pipes in her and she can hold out for a five minute speech?) but i couldnt help but cry. so you are officially better than me.
spontaneity is the spice of life, is it not?

Yeah... I had that same problem, actually. I mean, it was an emotionally-charged scene, but you'd think the other woman would have died more slowly... or at least would have been hit over the head with a blunt object or something...
