Last night was a good night. Seven of us relatively spontaneously went to go see Matrix: Revolutions after large group. First, the movie is freakin' awesome. I think that's probably one of the best endings to a movie that I've seen in a long time. At one point, I almost cried. Seriously. (Kelly says she's stronger emotionally than she looks. Me, I think I'm more vulnerable than I appear...)
Second: just the act of spontenaity (even though Jesse later said that Matt had been planning on getting a group together since Tuesday night) was in and of itself incredibly fun. The thing that stinks about InterVarsity is that it doesn't seem like groups of us just randomly form and hang out outside of officially sanctioned events. (Matt, Kate and Mike: that's part of the reason why you guys made this summer great--I could just randomly show up, in particular at Matt and Kate's, and hang out for hours... I've been so busy with official events that I haven't been able to do that lately here...)
*shrug* I think I may try to get a group of us together to watch the first ep of the Clone Wars thing. Maybe. We'll see.
