Results in 2 -3 days. -.-

Ultrasound at 11:45 central tomorrow morning. News after, no doubt.

So. Now it's *not* a hernia, and I need to get an ultrasound done to find out wtf is going on. They think.. maybe nerve damage. Maybe something else. Maybe it still is a hernia, but the mri isn't showing that at all, and it would.

This is where someone needs to admit they don't know wtf is going on with my leg/hip/groin/wtfever.

So, I had my doctor's appointment for the hip specialist today. He prodded at me a lot, asked me questions, watched me walk. He's now decided that it's not a hip problem at all, but a hernia in that area. Tomorrow, I have to go to the general surgeon to get a second opinion ( Read more... )

Still hurts.

Shift Manager told me to 'get my gimpy self out of his store.' That's as good as he gets for being concerned. Especially when he argued with another guy that wanted to get off early. "she is in pain. You are perfectly healthy. *She* is going home; I'm not giving her the choice."

Given that I didn't ask. :P

Yesterday, I was hobbling 'round like a gimp. Preparing to have to call out again today and make an 'emergency' run to the doctor to plead for mercy and time off to let it heal.

This morning..

.. pain is 90% gone. I can even walk without a limp.

Wtf!

Well, it's still killing me this morning. So I did the smrt thing and called out of work. Hopefully another night of rest will help.

So, yesterday I went back to the doctors for my hip. It's been hurting worse than when I saw him last, so this time, I got a lovely needle to the joint in order to inject something that was supposed to help, with instructions that if it didn't get better by Thursday or Friday that I was to call his office and we'd be back to the mri to see if ( Read more... )

The bone that connects the ball of my hip to the leg is bruised. No arthritis, no fracturing. A "contusion", he said. So I'm to keep taking Aleve and wait for it to ease up on its own. In three weeks, we'll see how it's doing and see if I'll need physical therapy to help the hip strengthen back up to where it should be.

And now, off to work.
