what they are saying.

no ja niby też wiem ale ciągle mi się chrzani i wątpie aby kiedyś przestało XD bo mówię ci, osoba z ameryki, pisze "i'm asking you what are you doing" zamiast "i'm asking you what you are doing" >_> i szczerze mówiąc, to pierwsze brzmi naturalniej ;__;

*wodazmózgu*

zabij mnie, ale akurat ten przyklad mi sie wydaje w obu przypadkach poprawny xDDDDD
bo to wygląda na takiej zasadzie
- pytam sie, co robisz? (pytam sie kufta grzecznie, co ty u diabła wyprawiasz?!!! XD)
- pytam sie co robisz.

ale pewnie sie myle >_>

The latter is correct. "i know what are they saying." could be correct if you add an ! and a ? (and a ditzy girl voice) so it's "I know! What are they saying?" (but that'd be something you may hear in passing... like a girl badmouthing someone, then another one agreeing, saying 'i know'...... ). *cough*

anyway... i'm guessing you mean the last page of the omake? <-- i realized the text was weird after i read it out loud... :x
At least i hope it's that page from the omake and not something else >_<;...

but i think i messed up cuz i was gonna use a quote... like:
I asked you, "what are you doing?"
but then wanted to change it to 'asking'... and then made-up some jibberish in between...

*still hasn't decided what to put in that bubble*

yeah, it was from omake. tho i wonder about this type of sentences whenever i see one >_>

and about the "why do i bother" yeah, it is rhetorical. but still a question. i'm so lost ;__; i'll ask my sensei next time :x

don't worry, it's normal to know less about your mother tongue than somebody learning it, lol. cuz mother tongue is known more by instinct than by rules :3

omg. k, i just posted and had to delete cuz i realized i didn't actually read your post in its entirety. anyway... i was thinking 'inversion' simply meant backwards sentences (i was complaining to obby about "How to... let you act spoiled, I don't know." is backwards... then he made fun of me saying you had said the same thing about what i translated :x).

anyway, if you meant questions using "wh" words... could the difference in what you wrote, "I'll forget it anyway, so why do i bother," be that "why do I bother" isn't an actual question per se? (it's rhetorical)... (now i'm curious... and feel lame asking T__T <-- me being a native speaker and all... =_=;;;).
