see, I just don't follow the show
we had dinner with friends last night and that's what they did after dinner..

I watched it, but I had no clue what was going on, I don't have time for hour long shows anymore

too many flash forwards and flash backwards
and its just too unrealistic.. the island can control if he dies or not? wha?

I am the queen of the DVR.. I DVR everything I want to watch and watch it later, skipping commercials (I still watch American Idol this way, its WAY better)

So even though we have HBO and Cinemax, we just record them for later.. 80 hours of record time is a LOT.. if we are ever sick there's tons of movies to catch up on.. but honestly I have too much going on lately to sit down for more than a half hour straight.. I'm going back to school in the fall you know, so that means scholarship deadlines.. ugh

I do love the invention of the DVR. When I move and don't have cable anymore, that's the one thing I'll miss. I actually don't watch that much cable (unless I'm at Joe's - all he watches is the food network and other cable channels), but I LOVE being able to pause, rewind, and DVR live TV!! My sister and her friend watch America's Next Top Model, but I only like the parts where they show the girls in crazy makeup and costumes, so I would totally fast forward most of it.

You have way more willpower than I do...good job with being on top of things with your deadlines!!! I suck at stuff like that.

So you've definitely decided on going back to school now? Last I talked to you you were torn between applying to vet school and going for your vet tech training. Or were there more options?
