I'm putting together a Zoe costume for Dragon*Con next year (yup, getting an early start this year) and I'm searching for boots. I know they're black mid-calf flat boots, but beyond that, I'm not sure where to start. The other problem I have is that I have large calf muscles, so regular mid-calf or knee high boots do not fit me. Does anyone have ( Read more... )

Ok, I'm officially insane, and willing to undertake the making of the funeral dress that Zoe wears in Serenity. The problem is, I have no idea how the costumers got that material. I've got nearly everything done on my Zoe outfit, but I'm missing the gun. I know that it's a replica of Steve McQueen's gun, and I have seen a few working models out there that would do (for hundreds of $, of course).
