I really love what you did! It looks amazing! *__* What kind of pencils and paper did you use?

Thank you! :)

Er, just a random sketchbook and mechanical pencil (0.5 mm HB and 2H lead). :) I'm lazy, haha.

The sketchbook paper was actually starting to rip because I tend to press rather hard with the pencils and because I kept messing up / erasing the hair. :( I'd recommend a thicker, higher quality paper before trying a realistic drawing. I had apparently forgotten that important note of information. xD

^^; Thank you so much! I struggled a bit with how to shade the hair, it's so easy to overdue it and make it darker than blonde hair should be. D:

Thank you! I was really worried that since his hair was based off Legolas's that he would just look like... a failed Legolas drawing. I'm glad you could tell who he was immediately. :)

You're welcome! ♥

I should work on my life drawing too. I tried about a month ago and wasn't entirely pleased with my attempt, but it wasn't too bad I suppose, since I've been drawing anime style for years. Time to practice! ^_^

That's exactly why I wanted to try this drawing, because I've drawn in the anime style for too long and I needed to prove to myself that I could still draw the old-fashioned, realistic way. xD

YOU CAN DO IT! :) Be sure to show us when you're done!

Thank you! I really struggled with it, I wasn't sure I could do the movie-esque Elvish designs justice by just making one up. I'm glad you like it. :)
