Have been productive lately. It's nice. Over the holiday weekend it was a Regency petticoat in addition to other smaller projects and this last weekend it was an early Victorian(ish) hoopskirt made from garden hose and bed sheets with a petticoat to match.

Ugh, you are making me feel so unproductive, chica. :P I haven't touched my sewing machine in a week. Maybe you're onto something with this "progress pics" thing.

Overall, it looks excellent, and quite elegant. I'm amazed you did this with bedsheets, a free pattern (thanks for that, BTW!), and stuff from the hardware store.

And I am pleased to know the hose works! Someone told me about something similar, and I bought this long roll of polyflex hose from Home Depot to try using when I got around to making a hoopskirt, so I wouldn't be paying alot for those special hoop skirt hoops. Any tips to working with the hose?

I had to re-do some of the boning channel to make the hose fit. I failed to account or the depth in addition to the width.
