Words fail me, but I want you to know that I really enjoyed this story! I'll even admit to getting teary-eyed but that's nothing new XD Sad, abused, orphaned children always do that to me, heh.

You're not who I thought you were, and I'm not who you became, and you're not who I'll be.

I like all the parallels, but it's clear in the end that everyone is different and the new generation is one of change, right? It's unfortunate that Naruto can't save everyone, (although he did bring Pein some sort of peace in the end and maybe that was enough for Nagato and perhaps Naruto himself) but he's still alive, still living so there's still hope.

As heart-breaking as this story is, it carries with it an uplifting message. You can bet this goes on the rec list <3

Much Love,
Eli Artemisia

HAHAHAHA, yes, but sad and orphaned children who go insane and start nuking every-damned-thing are a really special kind of wtftragedy. Ah, lackaday.

Yeah, that was basically the point (or one of the points). Mistakes have been made in the old generation. Not everyone can be "saved" in a certain sense, but there's a chance the future will be new and different. There is still time for people not to make the same mistakes and even if things are, in some ways, going wrong, there are still things worth holding onto.

Ah, CHEERS. <3

Fuck, why are so damn awesome. This is such a great piece of writing. It is so freaking touching I have a knot in my throat and I want to cry but won't. And dammit. It is so evocative, and depressive and heavy and full of hope and love and I freaking adore it.

Your writing style is beautiful. It reads so poetically and is like a puzzle that slowly pieces itself together. I really love how you make your reader actively engaged in your writing, piecing out the conclusion Naruto is coming out on their own as well.

I love the way you wrote Kakashi, especially how he finally seems to connect with Naruto. Your take on Naruto's reaction to being called a hero was also really unique, especially the focus on the burdens of being a hero.

In my mind, Naruto is actually one of the flatter characters, despite being a main character. He has an indomitable spirit and the ability to change people, but I do think Kishi spends much more time with the physical growth of his powers rather than Naruto's maturity thus far. To me, Naruto seems to change everyone around him but he himself is very much static. It's nice that you were able to write a fic with some character development for him.

Thank you. YEAHHHHH, I know Kishi would never explore that side of possibilities (i.e. the responsibilities/burdens of being a hero), so I took it upon myself to do so. Whoo. I keep thinking in all likelihood, I made Naruto too, uh, mature, but he's got to grow up sometime. You'd think after all this stuff, he definitely would.

I really don't know how to write Kakashi or anything, but I thought it was worth a try, and anyhow, I'm glad you enjoyed.

Yeah I like mature Naruto. Cute, easy-going idiot Naruto is awesome and all but I personally like it so much better when part of that goofiness is a cover-up/defence mechanism in Naruto's personality. There are places in the manga when Naruto's not acting an idiot and he's shown himself to be smart. I do kind of wish Kishi would elaborate just a little bit on that. *wishes for it as a xmas present*

And your kakashi is really awesome. It was exactly how I imagine him.

This fic really was great...I would wax poetic about it all day lol. Your writing style is...without words.

*g* Yeah, it has been hinted in canon that he's deeper than he lets on and his goofy ways are an attempt to cover up insecurity. I agree that it'd be nice to see Kishi do more with that notion. I especially hate when the manga dumbs him down as a means of other characters explaining jutsu to him for his various training arcs. That's sooo lame. Bleh.

Ah, well, thankyoumuchly. ♥ My writing style is quite experimental, soo, I'm always happy when people respond. ♥
