Tarja, former singer of Nightwish, is playing in Oslo today. After some hesitation, boyfriend and I decided to go.

We've both been Nightwish fans since long before she left the band, and didn't want to miss seeing her live again. On the other hand, we're neither of us very fond of her new material. I think her album My Winter Storm is pretty good ( Read more... )

Hva er det egentlig som er galt med at musikk er storslagen og pompøs, lurer jeg på. Mye av min favorittmusikk befinner seg i genrer som ofte kritiseres for å være nettopp dette.

For eksempel: Siden jeg var veldig liten har jeg vært begeistret for Which Witch, Ingrid Bjørnov og Benedicte Adrians mesterverk av en rockeopera/operamusikal. Mye kan ( Read more... )

Jeg er vanligvis ikke veldig begeistret for aprilsnarr når det kommer fra folk jeg kjenner, noe det heldigvis ikke gjør så ofte - jeg kjenner stort sett bare snille folk som vet at jeg er relativt naiv og pleier å tro på det folk sier til meg uavhengig av hvilken dato det er :)
