FYI, that's Lemmy in my new icon. However, it was Banana that got my heart racing this morning as he zoomed out of the cage while I was feeding the trio. Because navigation is fairly new to him, I was able to run ahead of him and close a door, confining him to upstairs. I was also lucky, or rather he was, that no cats were in sight at the time. Yeah, that's a bit much for first thing in the morning.

The boys are taking Banshee (the baby raccoon they rescued) to the nature rehabilitation place today. Liam was heartbroken, but I was *so proud* when he said "But Banshee's wild, and wild things don't belong in cages."

I am so, so proud of him. He's learned at 12 a lesson that his father never has, on both a literal and metaphorical level.

Your Liam has a raccoon named Banshee??? *Shakes head and laughs* Looks like my Liam keeps an eye on your Liam. :)

Yes, he's definitely doing the right thing and that lesson will take him a long way, relationship wise.
