Happy Day After Crass Commercialism Day. That sounds nice. I watched all my favorite Christmas cartoons on Chritsmas Eve and that helped me a lot.

I'm OK. Had a nice visit with granddaughter Rhiannon today. Was going to go to the contra dance tonight at Glen Echo, but developing cold symptoms led me to stay home instead, lest I infect all my dance partners.

Yesterday was about as good as it could have been, all things considered.

Oh yay, very glad to hear this. I don't mind New Year's but Christmas turns into pressure and deadlines and craziness instead of what I really want it to be: hope and family time.
