A dear friend of mine passed today. She was melyxa here on LJ. But she was so much more. She was a good friend and a great listener. She could give good advice, no excellent advice, when you needed it, even if you didn't want to hear it. She had a wonderful warm, singing voice and a razor sharp wit. Thank you, Velma. She was way too young. I keep thinking it had been a year since I'd seen her last. Who knew there wouldn't be more time.
