A sad passing

A dear friend of mine passed today. She was melyxa here on LJ. But she was so much more. She was a good friend and a great listener. She could give good advice, no excellent advice, when you needed it, even if you didn't want to hear it. She had a wonderful warm, singing voice and a razor sharp wit. She was partner to one of my closest friends and mother

I have been thinking of you all day. You are one of the few who knew her as I did and would understand how I was feeling. Relieved that she was finally out of pain and so damn sorry that she was gone. I am sure she is partying hard on the other side.

It's Em I keep thinking of and wishing there wasn't another member in the Widow's Club.

I have no doubt Margot is partying hard, I just wish she didn't have to party so soon. But I too am glad she is pain free now.

Originally, I think we must have hung out on the same paganism comm for a while (one that doesn't exist any more). We were on each other's friends lists for years, but I eventually stopped reading her during one of my argh-too-little-time culls. She understood and kept me on her friends list all this time.
