A sad passing

A dear friend of mine passed today. She was melyxa here on LJ. But she was so much more. She was a good friend and a great listener. She could give good advice, no excellent advice, when you needed it, even if you didn't want to hear it. She had a wonderful warm, singing voice and a razor sharp wit. She was partner to one of my closest friends and mother to a wonderful young man. She was an inspiration to anyone struggling through the trials of life. She officiated at my handfasting to Liam. The world is a harsher place without her.

Party on, Margot. See you when I get to the other side, if not sooner. :)
