Kitty update: Not good news

Bobby tested negative for FIV and F-Luk but his kidney and liver functions were way off. The vet bathed him, deflead him and made him comfortable. He was alert when we picked him up this afternoon but declined rapidly and died about a half hour ago. I wish I had found him a couple of days earlier but I didn't. Right now, that's not very comforting. Not jumping on you at all, I get where you are coming from but I'm just pissed that he was too far gone. I really wish we could have saved him.

Thanks for understanding. This has happened way more times than I would like. Like Ali says, they know where to go when it's time and that I do find a little comforting but I'd like to have a win or two among the losses.

I hope so. He died warm and fed as opposed to outside and starving. Sometimes that's the best I can do.
