some of the outfits were a little much, but I wish people could dress up more nowadays. I'd love to wear a black dress to work instead of a white shirt, khakis and an apron.

LOVE this movie! I'm a big Norma Shearer fan.

It's funny...that white dress with the red sash that you posted a photo of, from the color sequence...it reminds me SO much of the dress Mary Poppins wore during the Jolly Holiday sequence. I wonder if that costumer was inspired by The Women...

lipstick in the mirror scene is simply the best.
