The color sequence was just the fashion show in the middle. it was beautiful and kind of made me wish the whole thing had been shot in color

Adrian did the costumes/gowns, and had just been costuming the Wizard of Oz that same year, so its interesting to see the same influences, especially on several of the pieces in the fashion show, particularly this one:

I love the cap when Joan/Crystal comes busting into the powder room. Classic.

A few years back in SF, Trannyshack did a drag performance of The Women, Peaches Christ played Sylvia Fowler with an amazing replica of the outfit with the eyes, it was fantastic.
