The convention is only two and a half weeks away!  Woo hoo!  I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

How is my son going to be in high school next year?  How did that happen?

Our local school district has several option high schools that are part of the public school system.  We had done some research for our son and decided that the school with the math and science focus would be a good fit for our son.  It's a much smaller school than the "home ( Read more... )

I was going to write about real life and children and stuff, but now that I sit down to write about it, it just feels too overwhelming.  In a nutshell, we had a meeting with our son's core teachers and counselor this morning and it went really well.  We feel really lucky that his school has such a dedicated staff.  We think we're on the right track ( Read more... )
