I'm Insane
My son is driving me nuts! You know the old saying "he'd lose his head if it wasn't attached"? I'm pretty sure they were talking about him when they said it. Forgets to turn in homework he's finished, so his grades are suffering. Lost his science textbook. Hasn't had it since before winter break and we're just now finding out about it. Don't know how much it will cost to replace. Now he left his coat somewhere last night. How can you go outside into 30-degree weather and not realize that you don't have your coat on? I'm insane.
On the bright side, he sincerely seems wants to do better. He's also a very sweet kid and so, so smart. I think that's part of what is frustrating me. He's really smart! But he's just the ultimate absent-minded professor. Grrr...
I need some peace and tranquility...
