Okay. My mom just walked in and said something very true (you should be revising) and instead I doing this. It was honestly my definition of perfection. I absolutely loved Kame's attitude (badass Kame rocks), but then I fell in love with how, even though Maru and Kame were as opposite as you were gonna get, their relationship worked so well. Not to mention that I love how the characters develop (Nakamaru getting angry was just >.< and Kame was just so cute to Maru it was like *you're obviously special to me*). Also, the eggs apparently
Being a love letter just made me close my eyes and inhale slowly because of the sheer sweetness and adorable-ness. It was also extremely impressive how you made Kame's sudden mood changes and personality changes sound so good, and not at all pretentious or fake or unbelievable.

And… oh! The good cop bad cop thing, and the whole sweet and toxic thing, and just so many words I can't!!!
Breathe. Anyway. I'm sorry I wrote an essay but this is now my favourite Nakame fic out there.

Success! \;A;/ It's hard to write Kame's mood swings without making him sound full of himself and crazy and while I did enjoy making him a tad unhinged at times (ditto on the badass kame rocks fhdjks*o*v), I'm really glad to hear that his character and the roots of his emotions came through. There were a whole bunch of meta-thoughts behind me writing him in a way that had him misunderstood by outsiders but Nakamaru could see his 'real face' <3

SQUEE YOU ENJOYED THE LOVER LETTER!EGGS \*__*/ that was the quickest ending I've ever written but I was pleased with because... cuteness ;; but at the same time unsure, because does cute really fit in this piece...? Glad to know there is always room for some fluff <3

To begin with, can I just say your comment made me immensely happy? Because it really, really did >////<

For so many reasons. Since I've been writing in fandom for a while now, my style and my characterisation is kind of typical and, ahem, a tad obvious >.>;; so it's such a pleasure to have someone new in fandom even give my fic a try in the first place--and a super long one at that ;; really, I wasn't expecting to attract much readers with this fic due to its length and plottiness and the summary was kind of 'meh' and I thought the ones who would read would be the ones who already knew it was me and knew what to expect from my writing. Comments like yours are one of the reasons why I join exchanges. They give me such encouragement, so thank you so so much for taking the time to leave such thoughtful and flattering feedback ;o; ♥♥

Okay, I'm pretty much speechless after reading this it was so damn GOOD. I got so easily caught up in the storyline and the tension and the feels and just everything. Guh, I love this and I have no words to describe how much so here's a list of some synonyms for Fabulous that my thesaurus provides:

*happyclapping* this is so great to heeeeeaaar <3333 for the first time, I felt the first part was draggy compared to the latter but if it could hook you in, it did its job, so \^___^/

love the character developments, most especially kame's because you can see the changes that occurred to him thru yuichi's influence
\*____*/ I love how you picked up on how this story began with the illusion that Nakamaru would be undergoing some transformation but despite all that happened, his character remained strong and consistent; his ideals chipped at the edges later on, but he was more influential than influenced. It was Kame, the ever stubborn one, who gave into him this time and it was such a new, fun way to write their dynamics since I usually write them reversed, with Nakamaru being all 'sighsigh *waves white flag*' ;D

at first i thought the story is going to be on the comedic side with nakamaru bumbling while kame teases him a lot as the plotcrying, ME TOO. idk where all the darker plot came from? T__T I just wanted a little bit of action to get them going and flare the tension between them but then I didn't want their relationship to develop too fast and undermine their characters. So. I added more.. and more

the dark tones sort of thrown me off at first because i'm used to fluffy nakame from you but i'm not quite sure what stuck to me to think that this is from you..maybe it was your yuichi's thoughts..this might be in an au setting but how he deals with things and people (especially kame) and happenings gives off same feels as your other fics (i see hints of dentist!Nakamaru in him)..

with Nakamaru being all 'sighsigh *waves white flag*' ;D - and i think nakamaru loves to indulge kame so he lets him win..but here i see more yuichi going heads on with kame and not taking kame's treatment lying down, so yeah, it was definitely refreshing to see that and yuichi actually winning..

and yay for 44k worded fics with lots of character and relationship development happenings..those make the reading worth the while..

Yes! The genre was definitely different from my usual but the core dynamics were the same--there were lots of parallels between this fic and Found My Way, sob, but I don't know how else to write nakame fdhsjk this is how they work for me. So happy they work for you too ♥!
