I can relate.
On top of whatever I've done to my back I was woken this morning with my knees burning, what I imagine a severe chemical burn would feel like, and my shoulders throbbing.
I can't afford to fill my Ultram so I am hoping the valium I just took will at least let me sleep because I will feel so much shittier all day if I am unrested.

*gentle hug* Be well. I understand the not moving hurting worse. Even when I am so weak I can barely walk its like the movement distracts from the pain.

This sounds alot like bursitis. I had bursitis in my shoulder that gave me similar intense pain. You might want to have it checked out if the pain isn't getting better. They can't do alot for bursitis other than cortisteroids, physical therapy and pain meds. Heat or ice might help too. It can take a while to heal.

Yeah I couldn't move this morning until my boyfriend got my pills and water and rubbed the spasms in my back down to a dull roar. took about an hour and a half :(.

I wonder if maybe you rolled wrong and pinched a nerve?

I've been woken up before from pain but what I find is worse (for me) is having my pain seep into my dreams. I mean.. helloo? I'm dreaming! Why does my pain have to bug me there?
