I'm finally home after work, studying, class, and lab with all of the required driving in-between. Okay, it's not home. I'm still dogsitting but it feels like home right now. Mike decided to surprise me with my Christmas present yesterday. And what did my darling husband do?

He took me to 2 yarn shops with the instructions to buy whatever I wanted. Loopy Yarns

We saw Iron Man today.

It rocked hardcore. And totally w00t!! I never thought I would say this in this century - but Robert Downey Jr. is hot.

EVERYONE: YOU MUST STAY UNTIL THE END OF THE CLOSING CREDITS. Trust me on this one, especially if you're any kind of fan.

I had my first sock class today. I managed to tangle my very pretty sock yarn into a huge mess that the teacher had to stop the class to help me sort out before we could continue, I forgot how to do any sort of cast-on, and just barely completed the intended goals for the 45-minute class in 90 minutes. * I finished watching the first season of Gilmore Girls. I think I'm in love with this show. And I've managed to catch about 98% of the Gilmorisms flying around. Much fun to watch a smart, funny, fast show like that. I hope Seasons 2-7 are as good ( Read more... )
