I've had the BtVS theme song as my ring tone forever. (And of course, I have 100% no shame about this, whatsoever.) Today--as on too too many other days of late--I have a mild migraine (if mild is ever a suitable adjective to describe migraines) and so, am in deep need of comfort and courage. So I decide to put on one of my Buffy DVDs (on v. low ( Read more... )

It's like he's gotten...firmer? Or more concentrated? Something like that. Hey, is that link broken?

No need.

Just look at the shoulders and drool. It's all understood, bb.

Ha! I have the True Blood theme as my ringtone and do the same thing when that show starts up. It almost gives me heart palpitations and the urge to kill whoever's calling me right when one of my favorite shows is starting. *izaloser*

Sounds like you had a yummy Thanksgiving!

I did have a yummy Thanksgiving! Then I came home and kind of did it again - 'cause the thing about having Thanksgiving at someone else's house is that then you have no leftovers.

On DB, I think he was... prettier when he was younger, but now, he's soooo big and manly and hot. I agree with you for sure. I kinda feel the same way about Jensen Ackles, when you look at him in Dark Angel and Dawson's Creek, so pretty, but he's become more rugged and less soft... or something.

Yes! You're totally right - a similar phenomenon occurred with Jensen.

Those pies sound delicious. :D I eat plenty of pomegranates when they're in season, but I've never cooked with them.

And a big yes to Boreanaz. There's pretty boys, and then *hot* men, hee. He definitely turned into the later, and that's where my preferences lie. ;D

I had never cooked with pomegranates either, but it worked v. well! I used the seeds and I also made caramel-y pomegranate molasses stuff for the filling by boiling down pomegranate juice with lemon and brown sugar. And today I put them in muffins and those were lovely too.

Ok I thought it sounded good just by the name, but now that you've given me details I'm actually drooling. *g* And muffins! I've wondered how the seeds would work in them! And now that you've tested it, I think I need to follow suit. :D

The seeds do stay kind of crunchy in the muffins, so you know. I like it though. I made my muffins with a bit of vanilla and ginger for flavoring. And I am realizing now that I probably should have written up THAT recipe instead of the pie one (see: my journal). I hope you don't feel pressured to make that crazy pie!
