I've had the BtVS theme song as my ring tone forever. (And of course, I have 100% no shame about this, whatsoever.) Today--as on too too many other days of late--I have a mild migraine (if mild is ever a suitable adjective to describe migraines) and so, am in deep need of comfort and courage. So I decide to put on one of my Buffy DVDs (on v. low volume) and after the teaser ends and the music comes on...I immediately respond with a "my cell is ringing" flinch, because it's been so long since I watched the show. Bad Fangirl?
When I recover, I will be making duck pot pie with sweet potato biscuit crust, and finishing Julie Powell's new book--the one about butchery, depression, and marital infidelity--which inspired me to watch Buffy today in the first place, with all the BtVS references.
Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving, Americans! I made pear pomegranate pies w/ almond crumb topping, which intimidated my sweetheart's relatives to some degree. But I think I can now name all 6 of his mother's sisters by name (but not the two brothers). (Let's put it this way: with his first, middle, last and confirmation names combined you've got the four most Irishy-sounding Irish American names of ever.)
ETA: Boreanaz has actually got hotter with age, y/y?
