Halloween is tomorrow. That really doesn't mean much to me, but it's fun knowing that so many people are excited about it, especially all the little kids out there who are going to dress up and trick-or-treat. I hate decisions where - no matter which option you choose - you know the outcome will hurt you in one way or another. How are you supposed to decide? Whichever one hurts the least, right? Well, if only I knew which would hurt the least...that might make things a little easier.

I hope my fortune cookie is right. One day it won't hurt anymore.

I'm so excited to go back to Berkeley and feel like part of the college community again. Summer has been nice, even with my internship taking up 40 hours of each week... It was a really valuable experience working in the fast-paced business world where there's always something to be done, and it'll definitely look nice on my resume when I apply for ( Read more... )

Prof. Ronan, co-prof. of this semester's Physics 8A, committed suicide after lecture on Tuesday. They say he was too stressed, and even said good-bye to his students in lecture.
