I previously viewed his starting to play as a midlife crisis thing but I like this much better. Thanks for making me view this differently!

Very beautiful! Loved the inner voice at the beginning and how it evolves into what is happening. Cool!

This is so wonderful and perfect. Giles and music has always had a special place in my heart. In fact, I have noticed that I often have him sing in my stories at times when he can't bring himself to express his true emotions. And this is exactly why, written out in such a beautiful way. I love it, and thank you.

I love showing off the many talents of my favourite Watcher, especially his literary and musical sides. Great minds think alike? (Lol!) ;) I'll have to check out your work when I get a chance. Thank you for reading and for your very kind words!

-- I just realised I failed to comment on this lovely ficlet!

Poor Giles, how he needed to be free of his worries for a little while. And then the bit about him hugging the guitar not only to his body, but also to his heart... Aww, how could this not be the perfect pairing?

OK, in reference to your other comment, I think Giles/tea is a pairing of true love, constant and forever. Music, otoh, is his mistress, exciting and full of stolen moments of pleasure. ;)

Thanks for reading and commenting.
