Has everyone seen Slashdot's tiny article on sea surface temperature? Scary, ne? Global warming is already killing thousands of people, and destroying others lives and livelihoods and still the American government refuses to sign up to the Kyoto agreement.

And wasn't there something about Google making people's search requests and stuff available to the US government? I'll have to find a new search engine, simply because I despise the US government, and I'm Aussie, dammit. They shouldn't be allowed to.

They aren't, they went to court and the US government had to dimish the number from a couple of billion to just 50,000. And it's all US users, as far as I know.
