Gee, if a company wants you to use technology for note taking, then they should buy you teh technology. Do they at least have wifi for you to hook up to?

There is wifi, but I don't use it. If I use it then they know what I'm looking at. I don't want them reading this LJ and seeing things about how I feel about the job...

I can't believe that your commitment is measured by how "high tech" you seem. That kind of boggles my mind. what happened to general job performance?

You take a job designing robots and there is a certain expectation of technology.
It's funny because their senior engineering guy who is our "guide" on the project is always going on about people brining out their artistic side. I thought this would help. (His daughter is getting a degree in art...)

But, he's out this week, so my boss has final say.

Seriously, your boss said no paper? WTF? Half the people in my office use paper notepads during meetings. Including the product managers. All of the office supply closets have legal pads AND spiral bound notebooks. And we're about as high tech and cutting edge and they come.
