Damn you. I really want that Jason Wu long-sleeved Obama t-shirt now, but I have NO IDEA what to expect from the Junior's size chart. Perhaps I will e-mail them.

Ha! I'm sorry! While that one does say Junior's fit, it does go up to XXXL, so there's a plus at least.

Some of the designer stuff is just GORGEOUS. . . and some of it is like, "I'm sorry, did you even try?"

I've sent them message asking for a size chart, but I don't really expect them to get back to me with anything. I'll probably give them till next Friday (payday) and if I haven't heard back by then I'll just place an order anyway. I'm borderline 1X/2X in standard women's plus sizing, so I'm hoping the XXXL will be fine.

I did some sleuthing for you. It appears that the Jason Wu for Target t shirts had an armpit to armpit sizing on a medium of 15.5 inches. Large is 19. Now, we have no way of knowing if this is the same sizing as the Target stuff, but this is the best bet to go off of.

Fwiw, I just ordered the Marc Jacobs shirt in an XXL after following a similar process of deduction :) Hope that helps.

Any way you could give the measurements (armpit to armpit) of the Obama shirt? It's pretty cute.

Also, it sounds like it's pretty short, but you didn't find that a problem?

Absolutely! Once I get home later tonight, I'll whip that out for ya! And it's not terribly short or anything. Like, it hits *just* above my front crotch region, so I could easily and non weirdly wear it without anything underneath :). It just happened that the skinny jeans I wore it with the other day were extra tight and created a slightly unflattering crotch seam, so I threw a longer cami under to cover it up.

Thanks for posting this. I'm always on the lookout for cool shirts with a cause behind them. While the girls tees might be too small for my 40Gs, I don't mind tailoring a men's shirt if it's a nice shirt.

I might have to splurge on that Obama shirt. Thanks for posting, I wasn't planning to buy because of the size chart absence, but we are similar sizes so I think it'll work for me.

Now I will get to be a political fat in a swing state! Way more fun than being a political fat in a state that will obviously go to a certain party (last election I was in Illinois, now I'm in Florida).
