Armani's creations are not of youthful fashions; his aesthetic runs timeless and classic. Save for a few confusing duds, his suits and gowns could have been produced twenty years ago, or today.

Wednesday night on Project Runway the challenge was to design a skating outfit for Sasha Cohen. It certainly sounds like a lot of fun. When I was in class yesterday I doodled my idea for a pretty skating outfit.

I know I'm late talking about Gwen Stefani's Spring 2006 L.A.M.B. collection, but I've been trying to decide what I think of it. On the one hand, LOVE the colors...but I am so tired of that sloppy baggy look that's dominated the runways the past two-three years; Stefani's collection is interesting, but not innovative.

Guess which collection we liked today? Alberta Ferretti, Spring 2006. She has a great balance of the structured, highly-tailored tight pieces I love and the billowy fashions that are so popular right now. Besides, the fabrics - wow!
