Foreign Country, indeed, was a hold-your-breath-and-don't-stop-reading story. And yes, a far more plausible scenario than the SS/HG/LM threesomes most of us encounter in fanfic.

Fabulous recs. I clicked on the previous years' recs, too, and in each one, found an OTP story that I hadn't yet encountered (squee!)... Hall of Heroes looks like a trip and I'm even tempted to read some Trek and PoTC. Stop me before I expand my fandoms! Ack!

*scurries off to contemplate the dilemma of what to do first -- read, write, or compile my rec list for next week!

Hee! It's always nice to find new stuff to read. The Hall of Heroes is hilarious, and the Trek and PotC fic are wonderful. ~tempts~ You can always find room for another fandom, right? ;P

YAY FANGIRL TOUR! I am so excited for these recs! (But admittedly brokenhearted about The Wedding Night. I really wanted to read that one.)

I'm excited, too! And I know - I (clearly) loved that story. I know it's the author's right to take down anything they've written, but still... ~sighs wistfully~

Aww, man, she took down The Wedding Night? That was such a fabulous story. I was looking forward to reading it again.

However, I will console myself with the Labyrinth one, the ST one and most definitely the two PotC stories. These look marvelous!
