Stuff for Sale: as the doors open, 10am

Parker has an enormous latte in hand, her shades on, and her card primed. SfS doesn't have couture, but she's most likely *not* going to be buying for herself. And what the hell, it looks like the clothes they have are cute.

Lotsa lotsa lotsa clothes.

Fandom? Time to shop.

"Ooooh," said Buffy happily. "Clooooothes!"

Parker nodded. "Many, many clothes. You wanted to update your wardrobe? I think you could update the wardrobe of some small island nations in here." She paused. "As long as they didn't want more than two outfits."

Buffy giggled and looked around. "I believe you." Then she spotted the itty-bitty skirts section and her eyes lit up. "Oooh, skirts!"

Parker smirked a bit. "I believe in the power of legs. Those skirts might cube that power, though." Then again, it's not like her skirts are ever anything but short.

Phoebe had gotten the e-mail and was all about doing something normal like shopping. "Hey Parker."

"Hey, Phoebe." Parker toasts her with her coffee. "Welcome to the rampage. Looking for anything in particular?"

Phoebe grinned. "I'm looking to update my wardrobe and maybe scandalize a few people. How about you?"

Parker flicked her fingers over a few racks. "Presents for other people. You know I don't do anything not designer." She shrugged. "But also, maybe an outfit worth ruining in Outdoor Survival. I may ask Callisto for tips on what won't be pointless to invest in. Since she'll be teaching it."

Jack has neither latte, nor shades, nor, if the truth be told, spare money for buying clothes, but he does have strong arms for carrying, bright blue eyes for watching, and an appreciation for pretty people enjoying themsleves.

"Parker! I heard you were planning on cleaning out the town, thought you might need a fetch and carry guy."

Parker's eyes light up. "And this is why we sing your praises, Jack-of-all-trades. I'm actually looking for--" She shuddered. "Bad shoes."

"Bad shoes?" To say Jack was stunned would an understatemnet of herculean proportions. "You're going to put bad shoes on those gorgeous feet?" Suspicious, he asked, "You are Parker, right? You're not under a curse or something?"

"I'm taking Survival in the Outdoors with Callisto. And unless I miss my guess? Any pair I've got will get ruined before the summer's over." Parker steeled herself. "Sacrifices must be made. In order to save the many, I have to wear the one bad pair. Gah!"

Callisto showed up, still not quite sure why she was doing this. "Parker."

"Callisto." Parker saluted her with her cup of coffee, then said, "So. Shopping therapy. Not for the weak or the weak of aesthetics. Ready to find the perfect dress and perfect shoes?" She cocked her head. "Also, I need recommendations on shoes to wreck in your class."

"And why would I need the perfect dress and shoes?" Leaving the part where the students wouldn't have shoes to wreck to herself, Callisto replied "Boots. Flat heel. Sturdy but flexible sole."

"Oooh. Thank you." Parker immediately started looking for something that fit that description. "And why not? A perfect dress can improve your mood. Same with perfect shoes. And... who knows. You might have an occasion to visit old friends. Why not?" She pulled out a dress, held it up to Callist. "Hmmmmmm."

Sure Jamie busted Parker's chops about shopping. Sure he probably wasn't going to buy anything.

But with no workshops and nothing else to do he could send a least one of himselves over to check out the action.

"Jamie!" Parker's smile was the smile of a girl with bags to carry. So what if she *could* carry them herself? "Come to collect on caffiene?"

"Damn straight. Cough up the Java, girl," Jamie said with a grin. "Oh, I met your boyfriend last night at Caritas."

Parker grinned and handed over the espresso she'd picked up from J, GoB during a lull in shopping, then smiled, surprised. "You met Jarod? What did you think of Caritas, then?"
